As part of the ‘Vanmohatsav’ Celebration for continuing efforts to make the earth “Green and Clean”, 69 Bn CRPF on Saturday organised mass plantation at Bn Hqr Mantripukhri, Imphal and company location at various places.
It was organised under the supervision of Bajrang Lal, Commandant-69 Bn in which approximately 1,360 saplings were planted by the officers, SOs and men of the Unit with the solemn purpose to make the mother planet Earth greener and a better place for one and all.
The CRPF informed in a press release that the mass plantation drive was carried out using ‘Miyawaki Method’ which creates sustainable forest in a small area.
Bajrang Lal, Commandant, inaugurated the mass plantation drive by planting a sapling at Unit HQr, Mantripukhri, Keithelmanbi & NIT, Imphal, location and motivated the Unit personnel to make this plantation drive a part of pious mission of the life.
All unit personnel took a solemn pledge to take care of all plants till they can survive on their own and always contribute to the creation of a greener world, the CRPF said.
