Transformation Challenge 2022: Cleanliness camp at Thangmeiband Cheirao Ching in Imphal West

The three-month lifestyle makeover programme was kicked-off on September 11 and will culminate on December 17 at MSFDS in a glittering award ceremony for finalists.

As many as 200 participants of the 9th AFC State Level Transformation Challenge, 2022 took up a social service camp at the Thangmeiband Cheirao Ching in Imphal West on Sunday morning as a part of a weekly event of the transformation challenge.

The cutting edge three-month lifestyle makeover programme was kicked-off on September 11 and will culminate on December 17 at MSFDS in a glittering award ceremony for finalists.

Speaking to the media, managing director of AFC Y Hemlet said that the cleanliness camp was organised to encourage the competitors to maintain hygienic and clean surroundings besides staying physically fit.

Stressing the importance of keeping the surrounding clean and hygienic, he said maintaining a clean environment can prevent various communicable diseases.

After collecting various plastic waste especially water bottles from besides the walking track and stairs in that hill, the managing director appealed to all to throw waste material in a dustbin or a dumping site to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
