The State Academy Training, Manipur organised an annual programme on ‘Improving Transparency and Accountability in Governance through effective implementation of Right to Information’ at DC Conference Hall, Senapati on Tuesday.
The programme was sponsored by the department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
Advocate Seikholen Lupho who attended the event as resource person elaborately explained on the provision and the importance of RTI Act which is essential for good governance and also imparted to the trainers on how to respond to information seekers.
As part of the programme, an interaction session on relevant issues of RTI was also discussed. The programme was attended by DLO’s and various staff from different departments of the district.
