Thoubal Ema demands probe into Itocha International Drug Cartel

Youths have been drowning in substance abuse as the drug dealers have been actively supplying illegal drugs in the state, Thoubal Ema said.

The Thoubal District United Women’s Development Organisation (Thoubal Ema) has expressed shock at the arrest of two people from Manipur with the possession of 50 kg of opium in New Delhi.

Thoubal Ema, in a press release, urged the government to investigate the Itocha International Drug Cartel that has been active in the state for the last five-six years, according to Delhi Police.

The organisation questioned the government regarding the drug cartel and to let the public know about the cartel to save the youths of the state.

Youths of the state have been drowning in substance abuse as the drug dealers have been actively supplying illegal drugs in the state, the release added.

The women's organisation strongly demanded the government to carry out an investigation on Itocha International Drug Cartel and to award befitting punishment against the members of the cartel.
