The Joint Tribe Students Association (JTSA) team led by convenor Daichui Gangmei who is also the president of RNSOM inspected and checked the ongoing developmental works and projects to maintain quality.
The projects include road leveling and blacktopping, bridge construction along Tamenglong-Mahur (Assam) Road.
Frequent monitoring and giving full cooperation to the company which is constructing the Tamenglong-Mahur Road work is necessary for the speedy completion of work, the team expressed.
The inspection team called on the officials of the company and discussed various issues regarding the construction work.
They gave a positive response that their main objective is to complete the work at the earliest and are making efforts.
One of the officials also requested the public to avoid any sort of disturbances that will hamper the construction work.
Convenor JTSA cum President RNSOM team inspected different areas of the road construction which include earth work, blacktopping, retaining wall, construction of drainage and construction of bridge foundation.
“The local people all want good connectivity for transportation and other purposes. It is our prime duty to avoid creating any hindrances and we resolved to mount pressure instead for the speedy completion with quality work,” he said.
The team expressed gratitude to all villagers for extending their full cooperation and also appealed to other few individuals who are obstructing the work along the said road to re-consider and give way to get the work done before the rainy season at the larger interests of the peoples, especially Tamenglong.
