TAKDAL, in a release, stated that the man-made ethnic cleansing proxy war allegedly waged by the Chin-Zou-Kuki Narco-Terrorists and illegal immigrants in the state on May 3, 2023 has brought untold sufferings to all the indigenous communities residing in the state, above killing many from the two warring communities and forcibly displaced several.

It further highlighted the grave situation in the state  and alleged that the state government has failed to maintain law and order and resolve the existing crisis. It also decried the recent conduct of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections in the state amidst the prevailing tension, and added that the same has created disunity among the people.
