ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre on Friday organised a special component of the drive ‘Interaction with VIP/VVIP’ at its office premises, as a part of the ongoing ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ campaign 2022 ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Churachandpur.

The inaugural function was attended by additional DC Khaikhopau Ngaihte as chief guest, head in-charge KVK L Somendro Singh as president and former MDC T Khaikhomang as guest of honour.
On the occasion, 48 participants were presented with dustbins and pans.

The programme encouraged the participants to keep up with the cleanliness mission initiated by the Government of India, followed by judicious use of waste generated from household use and agriculture byproducts.
