‘Submit details of properties damaged to nearest DCs/SDOs/SDCs office’

The Manipur government has notified to all those whose houses and properties were damaged due to the current crisis to submit details of the damage/lost property to the nearest DCs/SDOs/SDCs office irrespective of jurisdiction.

With properties worth crores damaged in the current clash that broke out on May 3 this year, the Manipur government has notified all those whose houses and properties were damaged due to the current crisis to submit details of the damage/lost property to the nearest DCs/SDOs/SDCs office irrespective of jurisdiction.

 A notification from the home department, government of Manipur by T Ranjit Singh, Commissioner (Home), Government of Manipur stated that “all concerned specially those whose houses/properties have been damaged due to current ongoing law and order crisis that the person concerned shall submit details of the damage/lost property as per the prescribed form in Annexure-A to the nearest DCs/SDOs/SDCs Office irrespective of jurisdictions.

The government also directed that all “Deputy Commissioners shall take up steps to cause necessary actions to get all such forms received, compiled/referred to concerned district and get verified at the earliest”.

Meanwhile, the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of Imphal West and Thoubal have notified all concerned especially those whose houses or properties have been damaged or burnt down due to the current law and order crisis that the assessment of damage will be starting shortly.

A notification issued by DCs of Imphal West and Thoubal stated that in order to avail the assessment, the displaced persons need to fill up a prescribed application form which would be available at the Relief Camp Nodal Officers for persons staying at the relief camps and at DC Imphal West Office "website https://imphalwest.nic.in" and DC Thoubal office website "https:// https://thoubal.nic.in" or in Room No.12 of Ground Floor, DC, Thoubal for persons staying elsewhere in Imphal West and Thoubal respectively.

For Imphal West, the duly filled prescribed form may be submitted latest by September 17 to the Office of the Relief Camp Nodal Officer of the concerned Camp or at the District Control Room (Room No.- H-4), DC Office Complex, Lampbelpat or at the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer concerned or sent sent to the designated e-mail id: "deiw.assessment@gmail.com".

For Thoubal, the duly filled of the prescribed form may be submitted latest by September 18 to Office of the Rellef Camp Nodal Officer of the concerned Camp or Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Thoubal, or Room No.12 of Ground Floor, DC, Thoubal.

In this regard, all concerned are requested to provide full cooperation during the course of the assessment, the notification mentioned.
