‘Submit damage report following hailstorm’

The Government of Manipur has issued a notice urging residents of Imphal West District to submit damage reports in the wake of a severe hailstorm and heavy rainfall that struck the state on Sunday.

The Government of Manipur has issued a notice urging residents of Imphal West District to submit damage reports in the wake of a severe hailstorm and heavy rainfall that struck the state on Sunday.

The notice, released by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, outlines the procedures for individuals affected by the adverse weather conditions to report damages. It specifies that affected persons must submit detailed damage reports, accompanied by photographs, to the respective Sub Deputy Collectors/Sub-Divisional Officers in their area of jurisdiction.

The notice stated that all reports must reach the office of the respective subdivisional Officer no later than May 7, 2024. Additionally, individuals facing emergencies resulting from the hailstorm damage are encouraged to reach out to the designated officers for immediate assistance.

DC Imphal East urged the residents of Imphal east district to submit damage reports in the wake of a severe hailstorm and heavy rainfall that struck the state on Sunday.

The notice issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East outlines the procedures for individuals affected by the adverse weather conditions to report damages. It specifies that affected persons must submit detailed damage reports, accompanied by photographs, to the respective sub deputy collectors/sub-divisional officers in their area of jurisdiction.

The notice said that all reports must reach the office of the respective sub-divisional officer no later than Tuesday. Additionally, individuals facing emergencies resulting from the hailstorm damage are encouraged to reach out to the designated officers for immediate assistance, it stated.

It also notified that any emergency in connection with the hailstorm may contact Rajkumar Debakar, Branch officer for DC, Imphal East, contact number 9366390171.
