One of the students told the media, “the students of the school are staging demonstrations against the unfortunate act of arresting or kidnapping one of our fellow students.” It is long since students lost peace and tranquility with the unrest in Manipur, he said.

The students appealed to the authorities concerned to release Avinash along with his companion as soon as possible. “May peace and tranquility prevail in the state,” said the student.
