Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) and DM University Students' Committee on Wednesday demanded that the prohibitory orders under 144 CrPC that was imposed inside the campus of DM University in connection with the ongoing internal conflict of AMSU be lifted.
MSF general secretary H Roshan told the media at its office in Imphal West that the imposition of 144 CrPC inside the DM University has caused a lot of inconvenience to the students, particularly the newcomers and the PG students whose examinations are scheduled to be held in September.
The students also feel insecure while passing through the AMSU head-office located inside the varsity campus, considering that any untoward incident could take place due to the prevailing situation of the ongoing internal conflict of AMSU, he mentioned.
The general secretary further drew the attention of the state government to intervene into the prevailing conflict within AMSU and resolve the matter in the interest of all the students.
