Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai Makha Nupi Lup (KTLMNL) president Thongam Kombirei on Thursday urged authorities concerned to stop “harassing” the residents of Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai area in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of one Donngaihching Hangzo.
Kombirei told the media at the office of Thounaojam Leikai Development Association, Kwakeithel, Imphal West that Donngaihching Hangzo was shot dead by unknown armed miscreants on July 6 near Sishu Nistha Niketan school which comes under the said locality.
However, no person from the locality was involved in the crime, she claimed. As the president of KTLMNL, the investigation into the crime by CBI is welcomed but they should stop harassing the people of the locality in the name of investigation.
The investigating agency should also investigate the missing case of Avinash, Anthony and others who had been missing in connection with the present crisis, she added.
