The Additional SP of Churachandpur (Law and Order) Shaik Mohammad Zaib Zakir on Friday announced at his official chamber that in the coming days the police will be taking up certain measures for the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha Election in the district.

He recalled that the election Code of Conduct was already in place as the 18th  Lok Sabha Election date was announced by the Election Commission of India.

He appealed to the people to cooperate with the police and submit their license guns/arms by April 1 at the nearest Police Station or to the SP office at Mini Secretariat ,Tuibong, warning that failing to do so may led to the cancellation or revocation of their Gun licenses by the CEC or the District Administration.

He also said that in view of the coming Lok Sabha Election, the Churachandpur Police will take certain measures such as setting up check post, checkpoints in different parts of the district in the coming days and will have many activities for  which he asked all the people of Churachandpur District to cooperate.
