An attestation parade of as many as 253 constables of Border Security Force Recruit of Batch No 243 and 244 was conducted at Subsidiary Training Centre of the BSF in Churachandpur district, Manipur on Wednesday.
Sh Ram Prasad Meena, ADG (HR), FHQ BSF, New Delhi took salute of the parade as chief guest. It was the second such passing parade from STC-BSF Churachandpur within this month, the last being on January 5 where 253 Constables successfully completed basic training and took oath for their duties towards the nation.
These constables underwent 44 weeks of rigorous training in the field of physical efficiency, weapon handling and firing, map reading, field engineering, border management, internal security, law and human rights etc.
The IG of STC BSF Churachandpur, Akhileshwar Singh, commandant/CI of STC BSF, Churachandpur, Vishal Rane and other prominent personalities of Churachandpur, School Kids of Kendriya Vidyalaya and media persons witnessed the attestation parade.
After the parade from the new constables, a band show by Band Platoon of FTR Mizoram and Cachar (M and C), Dhunuchi Naach and Laathi Khela of West Bengal, Martial Arts and PT Jump Show were shown.
