Shiv Sena releases first candidates list for Manipur Assembly Election 2022

For the first phase, names of six candidates announced.

The Shiv Sena Manipur State Unit has announced its first phase candidates list at its state head office located at Babupara, Imphal on Monday in presence of Northeast observer, Shiv Sena Dilip Panicker who is also secretary Bharatiya Kamger Sena and state president M Tombi.

For the first phase, six candidates, namely Thangjam Shyam Singh of Khundrakpam assembly constituency; Khaidem Ranjit Singh of Sekmai (SC) assembly constituency; Moirangthem Tomtomsana of Heirok assembly constituency; Ninghor Jojo of Phungyar (ST) assembly constituency and Lalhlungsng Sungte of Thalon (ST) assembly constituency were announced.

Speaking on the occasion, Dilip said the second list of the Shiv Sena candidates will be announced in the next two-three days after the completion of the paperwork.

He said that in the state, many facilities are lagging behind in terms of education, drinking water and health sector. To bring justice to the people of Manipur, the Shiv Sena candidates will be winning in the coming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, he added.

Shiv Sena state president  M Tombi said the second list of candidates will be announced within two days. He appealed to all the political parties and candidates to take necessary measures by following the strict standard operating procedures in order to avoid severe impact from the pandemic.
