Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) inaugurated its Day Care Unit on Thursday to enhance patient care. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by Dr Palin Khundongbam, CMD SHRI, and was attended by both the clinical and non-clinical staff of SHRI.
The newly inaugurated Day-Care Unit, with its eight beds and operating hours from 6 am to 6 pm, is tailored to meet the needs of patients seeking short-term daytime care, Takhellambam Premkumar, deputy manager – Business Development said in a release.
The establishment of this day-care unit is in adherence to the norms and guidelines set forth by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), the release said.
The unit has been meticulously designed to address the increasing healthcare demands of our patients. It offers a wide range of outpatient services, allowing patients to receive exceptional medical care from our team of experienced and dedicated healthcare professionals in a comfortable and efficient setting.
