Meritorious students of the first batch MBBS phase I 2022 of the Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS) were felicitated on Thursday night during a glittering award ceremony spiced up with entertainment programmes at the institute campus in Langol, Imphal West.
As many as 13 students of SAHS were included in the top 30 students of MBBS examination phase I undertaken by the Manipur University in 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman of Shija, Dr Kh Palin, said that one needs to be a good human being before becoming a successful doctor.
Appraising all the students of SAHS to consider all the inconveniences faced as an opportunity and encouragement, he said wherever there is inconvenience there is always a room for improvement.
The programme was also attended by director of SAHS Prof Amuba, faculties, students and parents.
