The Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Pvt Ltd. (SHRI) is now empaneled with the Nagaland government for the implementation of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).
The process was successful after signing an agreement between CEO, Nagaland Health Protection Society, Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland and DGM, BD and Operations, Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Pvt. Ltd on September 5.
This partnership highlights SHRI's commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Nagaland and further strengthens the state's healthcare infrastructure, said SHRI in a release.
As part of this collaboration, Shija Hospitals will serve as a vital component of the CMHIS network of service providers, it stated, adding, the hospital has affirmed its commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure to deliver medical and surgical facilities, along with diagnostic procedures, to CMHIS beneficiaries as covered by CMHIS.
It stated that under the agreement, Shija Hospitals will offer a wide range of hospitalisation services for clinical conditions and diseases requiring in-patient secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation.
This includes medical and surgical interventions, daycare treatments, and diagnostic procedures, all in accordance with the provisions outlined in MoU, it added.
Beneficiaries of the CMHIS can avail themselves of coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakh, ensuring that they have access to quality healthcare services without the burden of financial constraints, the release stated.
One segment of CMHIS beneficiaries includes the employees and pensioners of the government of Nagaland, it added.
