SESSC warns against selling drugs in its jurisdiction

Any person found selling illegal drugs in the club’s jurisdiction should take their own responsibility, Seven Eight Six Sporting Club (SESSC) general secretary Iqbal Shah said.

The Seven Eight Six Sporting Club (SESSC) has warned against selling of illegal drugs in its jurisdiction and said that any person found selling illegal drugs in the club's jurisdiction should take its own responsibility.

Iqbal Shah, general secretary of the club, said the club has been supporting the War on Drugs campaign and will continue to do so. Any person found selling illegal drugs in the club’s jurisdiction should take their own responsibility, he added.

Addressing the media at the office of SESSC located at Kairang Muslim Mayai Leikai on Friday, Iqbal said that in some local news it is reported that police conducted a drive at some drug vendors at Kairang Muslim Mayai Leikai.

The place should be Kairang Muslim Mamang Leikai and not Kairang Muslim Mayai Leikai as there are no drug vendors under the jurisdiction of SESSC. He said the drugs were seized from one Chesam Abirkhan, son of Chesam Nahatomba of Irong Mathak Leikai who is presently staying at his wife’s residence located at Kairang Mamang Leikai, Imphal East district.
