BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra has been appointed as In-charge of the Northeast States, the party said.
Following the new party organisational appointment, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren congratulated Sambit Patra and extened best wishes to him in working towards fulfilling the aspiration of the people in the Northeast region.
"Congratulations to all the newly appointed BJP State Incharge and Co-incharge. My best wishes to Shri@sambitswaraj Ji on being appointed as the Incharge of the North-East States. We will continue to work together to fulfil the aspirations of the people of this region," Biren tweeted on Friday.
Sambit Patra has been serving as the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2014.
