The residents of Sagolband assembly constituency on Thursday held a meeting at Sagolband MLA Rk Imo Singh’s hall at Bijoy Govinda in Imphal West and resolved to support the government in restoring peace and normalcy in the state.

A release issued by the PRO to Sagolband MLA Rk Imo, Ng Manao Singh stated that representatives of the local clubs of Sagolband held the meeting and took resolutions to support the government and to act against the spread of rumours during the sensitive condition in the state, it mentioned.

The locals also took part in the blood donation camp which was initiated by the MLA at RIMS hospital, it added. The MLA also appealed to the people to support the government in restoring peace and normalcy in the state, it added.
