A man who was riding a scooter (Activa) died at Raj Medicity on Monday evening after sustaining injuries in a road accident that took place at Malom Awang Leikai under Nambol Police Station in Imphal West.
The deceased has been identified as one Konjengbam Biken ,55, son of (L) Birmangol from Malom Tuliyaima Mamang Leikai. He succumbed to his injuries at 8.25 pm in Raj Medicity hospital.

The road mishap took place at 165-TA opposite Tiddim Road in Malom Awang Leikai when the scooter collided with a motorcycle (X-Plus) around 8.30 pm on Sunday.
Nambol police have registered a case in connection with the incident, and the body has been handed over to family members after conducting a post mortem examination at RIMS Mortuary.
