Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) on Tuesday strongly condemned the recent incident of firing reportedly between cadres of NSCN (I-M) and ZUF on Monday at Rongmei village Zeikuluang under Bishnupur police station in Churachandpur district.

The firing incident has created panic among the villagers, RNCM stated. It recalled that CSOs and village authority in public interest had recently resolved and appealed to stop fighting and bloodshed among the Zeliangrong brothers.

Rongmei Naga Council Manipur RNCM also appealed to stop firing among zeliangrong brothers and village authority, and CSOs will take strong steps in this regard, it added.
