The World Meetei Council (WMC) strongly condemned the silence of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal (RIMS) authority for their deafening act for justice in the matters of recruitment.
WMC also expressed suspicion on the RIMS authority as they did not speak in defence of the allegations of injustice in their recruitment activities and on the demand by ATSUM, KSO and ANSAM for justice.
In a release, WMC said that the action has vitiated the atmosphere in the state because it reeks of injustice committed against the Naga and the immigrant community. It has also insulted our intelligence, they added.
WMC urged the health minister, government of India to place the director of RIMS under suspension and deliver justice accordingly.
