Dental College, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal was awarded first position (National Level) in the category of Dental Colleges for their outstanding performance in orchestrating a month-long celebration of the World Oral Health Day 2023.
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal was assigned to organize various oral health promotion and prevention activities as part of the celebration held on the theme “Be Proud of Your Mouth”, stated a release on Wednesday.
Principal, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal, Dr B Praveen Reddy received the award from Director AIIMS, New Delhi Dr M Srinivas and Director General, Dte GHS, MoHFW, Government of India, Dr Atul Goel at the Felicitation ceremony of best performers for WOHD 2023 held during the 3rd meeting of the National Steering Group of oral health at AIIMS, New Delhi on December 4, it stated.
Additional DDG, Dte GHS, MoHFW, Government of India, Dr L Swasticharan and Chief, CDER, AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr Ritu Duggal was also present at the event, it mentioned.
