All Manipur Nupi Marup (AMNM) on Friday drew the attention of the authorities concerned for relaxation of the banned internet services in the state for three-four hours a day as it has been causing major problems for the general public.
People in remote areas of the state are living in fear as there is no electricity, stated a release. People have no ways to recharge their electricity bill and their mobile prepaid validity due to the ban on internet services, it stated.
They find it extremely difficult to connect with their family members and relatives as they have no way to recharge their mobiles, it mentioned.
AMNM also mentioned that internet services have been banned in the state due to the sudden clash among two communities which broke out on May 3.
The women organisation also appealed to all the civil society organisations, including Naga and Kuki organisations, to cooperate in bringing back peace and normalcy in the state.
