Relief Committee JNIMS on Thursday condemned the gun attack by miscreants at the residence of JNIMS director Dr Laishram Deben on Monday.
Terming the act as inappropriate, the committee in a release appealed to those concerned not to repeat such acts in future, especially amid the prevailing tense situation in the state.
The committee has been able to treat and save over 2,000 affected victims of the prevailing conflict, adding that none of it would have been possible without the assistance of Dr L Deben and JNIMS superintendent, Dr Kh Lokeshwor, it maintained.
It reiterated its condemnation against such attacks which created panic among the people and demanded public clarification. It also appealed to resolve whatever issues through dialogue and not attacks.
