Vice-president of BJP Manipur Pradesh Ch Chidananda on Monday hit out at Congress national leader Rahul Gandhi for misinforming the people of Manipur on the five-year governance of the BJP-led government in the state.

“Are all the Congress leaders deaf, blind and mute for pretending to not know the developmental progress taken up by the BJP?” Chidananda asked while speaking to the media at the office of BJP Manipur in Imphal West.

The BJP never dictates the people of Manipur but it is the Congress who dictates the people of Manipur and suppressed the people under their control, he said highlighting the numerous alleged fake encounter cases that took place during the 15 years Congress regime in the state.

Rahul Gandhi asking how many Ima Market was built by the BJP is a very silly question, he said. It clearly proves that the Congress never considered the welfare of the Imas of Manipur as they are unable to see the various Ima markets constructed at all the district headquarters.

The vice-president alleged that Congress is a party which does not even have trust among their leaders. Taking a pledge not to defect to any political parties is the proof, he added.

As Rahul Gandhi is a leader who only focuses on political interest, he makes fun of the efforts taken up by Prime Minister Modi to address the sufferings which the people of the whole country are facing, he continued.

The BJP is always committed to always work in the national interest, the development and the welfare activities taken up in the state in the last five year is the proof, he said reaffirming that BJP will emerge with absolute majority and form an absolute government.
