Rahul Gandhi charms roadside hotel in Kangpokpi

A roadside hotel in Kangpokpi gained popularity after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stopped for a cup of tea.

Kim Chow Hotel is a small hotel on a roadside in Kangpokpi town run by three girl siblings along with their mother for their livelihood.

The senior Congress leader and his team had tea and snacks and interacted with siblings who were ecstatic.

Long after Rahul Gandhi left, many people in the town thronged the hotel.

"I was so happy and excited that he even called me to sit near him and started interacting with me, inquiring about our small hotel and our wellbeing", Kim's sister added.

Kim said that as they consider the visit of Rahul as a huge blessing. "We might consider changing our hotel name to Rahul Hotel," she said while showing the cup that Rahul Gandhi had tea in the hotel.
