Radhashyam appointed Manipur chief information commissioner

K Radhashyam would be sworn in on October 21 at 3.30 pm at Raj Bhavan, Imphal.

The Governor of Manipur has appointed K Radhashyam Singh as the state Chief Information Commissioner of Manipur Information Commission.

The appointment has been given in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 15 of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

 The tenure and terms of service of K Radhashyam Singh will be in accordance with subsection 16(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 read with Section 12 of the Right to Information Rules, 2019 (notified vide Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Deptt. of Personnel & Training No. G.S.R.810 (E) dated 24th October, 2019).

K Radhashyam is an IPS officer of Manipur cadre who retired from service sometime back. He would be sworn in by state Governor Anusuiya Uikey on October 21 at 3.30 pm at Raj Bhavan, Imphal.
