Professor Pradeep Kumar Joshi, Former Chairman, Union Public Service Commission, has been appointed as the Chancellor of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur for a period of five years.
A release by Indira Thounaojam, Information and Publicity Officer, Central Agricultural University, Imphal stated that the President of India, in her capacity as the Visitor of Central Agricultural University, Imphal appointed Prof. Pradeep Kumar Joshi, to the post of Chancellor of Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur.
The appointment was made as per Clause 1 of the Statutes of Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 for a term of five years.
The order was issued with the approval of the President’s Secretariat ID. No CIII-07042/1/2023-CA dated 26.10.2023, the release stated.
