Poster campaign held in Bishnupur

The campaign aims at strengthening the democratic processes by ensuring that citizens are well-informed about their rights and the importance of their participation in the election.

In connection with the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024, SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) nodal officer and his volunteers carried out a multimedia poster campaign for voter awareness at all Petrol Pump Outlets of Bishnupur district under the guidance of district election officer, Bishnupur on Friday.

The campaign aims at strengthening the democratic processes by ensuring that citizens are well-informed about their rights and the importance of their participation in the election.

The campaign also emphasised the significance of voter enrollment and encouraged maximum turnout on polling day. The Saksham App for voters with disabilities and the c-vigil App that empowers citizens by providing accessible platforms for engagement and reporting electoral malpractices are also displayed in the posters.

The multi-media campaign was launched by Th Joseph Singh in a function held at the Conference Hall of DC Office earlier this week.

The district election officer, Bishnupur has also organised multiple voter awareness programs under SVEEP campaign in different parts of the district. Awareness programmes on accessible elections for PwD Voters; Block Level Sports programme; District Level Neighborhood Youth Parliament; etc to inform the voters on their rights.
