Pherzawl Government High School showcased their bamboo works at the District Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit organised in Churachandpur district by the Pherzawl district administration recently.
As many as 15 stalls of different departments were opened at the event held at the community hall of Pherzawl on Friday in the presence of DC Joseph Pauline Kamson and SP A Ghaneshyam Sharma.
On the occasion, DC Joseph Pauline Kamson said that the event was organised to bring transparency and efficiency in the implementation of various welfare schemes of the government, thereby ensuring better coordination of different department officials with the public. The government has many more developmental plans for the district, he said.
Extending acknowledgement to the public for their participation in the event, he urged the people to take the opportunities provided by the programme and express their grievances. A total of 11 grievances applications were received by the DC during the programme, he said.
During the programme, knapsack sprayers, pesticides, growth hormones, uniforms, textbooks, vegetable seeds and saplings, MOAPS and CMWPS pension cards, tribe/income/domicile certificates, saplings, AB-PMJAY and CMHT cards were distributed. And, as many as 320 COVID vaccines were administered to the public at the venue.
The 15 stalls of different departments included that of Police, Forest, Health, PMGSY (RED), MSRLM, ZEO, Handloom and Textiles, CSC (DIT), Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, PHED, Horti and Soil Conservation, Agriculture, One Stop Centre, CAF and PD and Malaria.
