Manipur State Pharmacy Council on Monday informed that the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) will conduct the Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination in July-September for 2022-24 academic sessions for D Pharm. Course through NBEMS.
The exact dates for Exit Examination will be announced in due course of time, stated a notice issued by Manipur State Pharmacy Council president Rajkumar Basumani Singh.
It also requested not to register the candidates as a registered pharmacist who have admitted in the 2022-23 academic session Diploma in Pharmacy and passed out in 2023-24 academic session until they qualify the exit examination and fulfil the other prescribed conditions u/s 32 (2) of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
The Pharmacy Council of India is an apex body entrusted with the mandate to regulate the practice and profession of Pharmacy in the country, it mentioned.
