A parents association has appealed for repairing of roads in Tamenglong district as the torrential rain has left the roads in dilapidated conditions.
Even as villagers take to mass social work to repair the road from Council Junction to old Tamenglong, the road conditions between council junction and Don Bosco higher secondary school remains deplorable.
Hence, students of different schools are finding it very hard to walk on muddy roads during rainy season.
So, the parent’s association of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tamenglong, has appealed to the district administration to repair the road from Council Junction to Don Bosco HS School, Tamenglong.
The association pointed out that due to incessant rain, students are facing untold suffering in walking through muddy roads and some of them are already sick and hospitalised.
The association further fervently requested the district administration to look into the matter squarely and redress the problem of students immediately.
