Speaking on the occasion, Rameshwar said the first priority for an elected candidate is to get along with the people of the respective assembly constituency before starting any sort of developmental and welfare activities. He said an assembly constituency could be well developed within 5 years period if an MLA contribute his developmental works during one tenure, he added.

However, state government launched various governmental welfare schemes or missions but due to lack of contribution from the respective MLAs while giving priority to get their profit, the society get less welfare and development, he added.

One MLA can bring lots of development in their respective assembly constituency from the local area development fund which is Rs 2 crore per year. Guardians and parents opted for private schools instead of government schools despite well qualified trained teachers are recruited.

If the infrastructures of government schools are not well established then automatically teachers will feel hesitant to go to the schools as well as for the students, he added.

For the people of poverty line, guardians or parents are facing financial issues in order to send their children for education. Such issues could be solved easily if the MLA local area development funds are utilised properly in order to promote government institutes, said Rameshwar.

Manipur do not have much resource however; the state has much potential in human resource. To bring the development in Manipur it is necessary to bring development in human resource where many talented youths could be benefited, he continued.

In order to bring a new Patsoi assembly constituency people should use their democratic voting right wisely by supporting the rightful candidate in the 2022 election to be held on February 28 for phase I, he added.
