The ordination ceremony of Rev G Khartu Monsang, son of (L) Kobeng Khartu and (L) Th Rhingchim, of Liwa Sarei Village, Chandel was held on Sunday. Rev G Khartu is presently the pastor of Liwa Sarei Baptist Church.
Rev Alani Shongsir, executive secretary, Monsang Naga Baptist Churches Association (MNBCA) was the main celebrant of the ordination ceremony.
Rev Ng Molarhring, chairman, Ordination Committee, MNBCA in his welcome and keynote address welcome all the religious ministers, pastors, tribe leaders, women and children from various Naga communities and churches of Chandel for attending the ordination program.
Rev G Khartu in his testimony shared his long years of service in God's ministry from 1984 till date. And he expressed his gratitude to the Liwa Sarei Baptist Church and MNBCA in particular and all the well-wishers in general for attending his reverend ordination ceremony.
The program moderated by Rev John Khartu was marked by words of appreciation, presentation, special songs by Liwa Sarei women fellowship choir, Th Joy, Th Rose and Ts Ningmi.
