Operation Sadbhavana project held at Ngaljang Village

The Assam Rifles distributed Sports items under Operation Sadbhavana at Ngaljang village, Churachandpur on Friday with the aim to promote sports culture in the border villages while motivating and aiding the youth and children with basic requirements of sports items.

Ngaljang village is a remote village near Indo-Myanmar border under Singngat Sub-division where the initiative was taken after assessing the needs of youth in border areas.

This initiative is aimed at not only instilling  confidence among the students but to  motivate them to pursue their career in sports, sources from AR said.

This programme aims in achieving the goal of promoting Fit India among the youth, to be actively involved in sports activities where a total numbers 209 of energetic youth  benefitted from the initiative.  

All youth organisations expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Assam Rifles and acknowledged the initiative of the  Security Forces.
