A road mishap involving a pick-up truck (Bolero) took place between Barak Bridge and Puiluanh village along NH-37 (Imphal-Jiribam Road), leaving the driver of the vehicle seriously injured, sources said.
One injured in road mishap in Tamenglong
A pick-up truck plunged into a deep gorge measuring more than 100 feet between Barak Bridge and Puiluanh village along NH-37 (Imphal-Jiribam Road) on Friday.

The injured was identified as the owner and driver of the vehicle Namgasinang Gangmei of Chiuluan Kaiba, Tamenglong district.
The vehicle, bearing registration No MNO1-166941 was coming from Jiribam side and heading for Tamenglong when it plunged into a deep gorge measuring over 100 feet, at around 8.30 am, the sources said.

The villagers of Puiluanh and security forces rushed to the accident site and brought the injured to Nungba CHC for medical treatment, the sources added.
