Troops of 87 battalion CRPF arrested a man, along with explosives at Uchathol village near the CRPF camp in Jiribam on Saturday.

The accused, identified as one D Jaithang Kipgen, 39, son of Nehkholam Kipgen, hails from Mongbung village, Jiribam.

The CRPF also reportedly recovered 722 grams of explosive contained in white polythene packet, cordex wire measuring about 5 meters and 79 cm in length, one Avenger motorcycle and a Redmi mobile phone.
