The chairman of Langol Old Age Home and all its the inmates on Thursday expressed gratitude to Manipur governor Anusuiya Uikey for extending relief items including rice, blankets etc to the home for the new year.
The home, in a release, expressed joy at the Governor’s visit to the old age home. It stated that the home looks forward to future visits by the Governor with similar philanthropic gestures from her.
It mentioned that the home is exclusively run with the help rendered by kind hearted individuals, families and various organisations of the state and few individuals from outside the state, without which it would be impossible.
It further thanked all the people, individuals, families, various organisations etc who have extended assistance and hoped that they will continue the same in future.
