NSCN (I-M), Government of India to resume peace talks

The interlocutor of the Government of India, AK Mishra, arrived in Dimapur on Wednesday

After a sort of hiatus, the NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India will resume the peace talks on April 13. 

Sources said that interlocutor of the Government of India, AK Mishra has arrived in Dimapur on Wednesday. He will also hold talks with the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) on the “Frontier Nagaland” issue, reports said. 

According to the sources, the NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India interlocutor will hold talks in Dimapur. The NSCN (I-M) will be led by Thuingaleng Muivah, the general secretary of the organization. He is likely to be joined in the April 13 talks by several top leaders of the NSCN (I-M). 

Another source said that Thuingaleng Muivah has come to Dimapur from Hebron, the NSCN (I-M) headquarters, by a chopper on Wednesday afternoon.
