Naga People’s Union, Imphal (NPUI) on Monday raised strong condemnations against the unwarranted detention and harassment of medical officer, Moreh Hospital Dr Mejonah Larung Maring.

A release stated that Dr Mejonah was detained without any valid reason by security personnel at the Palace gate on May 24.
The NPUI calls for immediate action against the involved security personnel for this misconduct, it added.
