No work, No pay’ protest from June 9

In an application sent to JNIMS director by Trained Nurses’ Association JNIMS on June 3, the body apprised the director of the matter and demanded JNIMS authorities to pay-off the pending salaries for three months.

Grade 3 and 4 regular staff of JNIMS have cautioned that the employees of JNIMS would take out ‘No pay, No work’ protest from June 9 if the pending salaries for the employees are not cleared by Saturday (June 8).

In an application sent to JNIMS director by Trained Nurses’ Association JNIMS on June 3, the body apprised the director of the matter and demanded JNIMS authorities to pay-off the pending salaries for three months.

It may be mentioned that the association had previously filed a similar complaint regarding the matter on May 16 in which it demanded the release of the pending salaries for the month of March, April and May.

The association highlighted that the June 3 reminder was filed as no official response or clarifications were provided for the previous application.

The body pointed out that no intense agitations were meted by the employees in light of the calamity and ongoing conflict in the state.
The latest application to the director stated “the delay has caused financial strain” and it had impacted their ability to meet “basic needs and obligations”.

As such the employees cautioned they would resort to ‘No pay, No work’ agitation if there demands were not met by Saturday.
