The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur on Friday informed that the consumers under Kangchup Extension will not get supply till November 14 owing to damage to the main pipeline by HCC at Naoremthong Laishram Leirak, Imphal West.
The PHED stated that the main pipeline has been damaged by HCC at Naoremthong Laishram Leirak during the road widening work of Uripok Kangchup road. There will be no supply till November 14 for the consumers under the jurisdiction of Kangchup Extension, including Keishampat, Sayang area, Nepra Menjor, Thiyam Leikai, Sangaiprou, Irom Pukhri, Haobam Marak and Chingtham Leikai, it mentioned.
“The consumers of the affected areas are requested to kindly bear with the department until the completion of the repairing work necessitated by the damage,” it added.
