The North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SODEXO in the presence of the deans of various schools of NEHU and the team from SUDEXO.
A release issued by NEHU stated that NEHU signed an MoU with SODEXO which is a French food services and facilities management company headquartered in the Paris suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux. During the event, chief human resource officer Annick De Vanssay and HR operations head, India Sandeep Kumar represented SUDEXO, it added.
It maintained that SUDEXO employs more than 4,00,000 people in over 55 countries and caters to clients from all sectors including private corporations, government agencies, schools from pre-school to universities, hospitals and clinics, assisted living facilities and military bases etc.
NEHU vice chancellor Prabha Shankar Shukla offered SODEXO India to open a branch in the North Eastern region, specifically at the NEHU campus, assuring that the NEHU students will fulfil the required manpower of SODEXO, it mentioned.
SODEXO chief human resource officer Annick De Vanssay extended acknowledgement to the VC for reaching out to the company for the MoU and assured that the company looks forward to visiting NEHU with a recruitment team for the students, it added.
