It said that Meiteis have been flushed out from certain areas in Kakching, Bishnupur and Imphal East district by forming Zalengam boundary. It alleged that the ethnic cleansing of Meitei was done in the presence of the Central security forces.

The Meiteis have been trying to hold peace talks with Kuki CSOs to end the ethnic violence which erupted on May 3, 2923 but the Kukis took a firm stand not to have any talks with the Meitei community and the Manipur government, it stated. They also decided to move forward in demanding their separate administration, it further stated, adding, their decisions have delayed in reviving peace and normalcy in the state.
