The department of Home Science of Naorem Birahari College at Khundrakpam, Imphal East in collaboration with the college’s IQAC celebrated National Nutrition Week at the college campus on Tuesday.
The event was held on the theme ‘Healthy diet going Affordable for All’, stated a release. The event highlighted the importance of healthy diet, proper nutrition and raised awareness about healthy eating habits and the profound impact they have on overall wellbeing, it stated.
A poster competition for the students on the theme ‘Healthy Diet’ was also organized by the department during the event, it mentioned.
Secretary of Naorem Birahari College Governing Body, Usham Dijen Singh; former IQAC Coordinator Maibam Gyaneshori Devi; IQAC Coordinator of Naorem Birahari College, Sanasam Sanjeev Singh and Principal-in-charge of Naorem Birahari College, Irom Kunjabati Devi, faculties of different Departments and students of the college took part in the event, it added.
