Continuing crackdown against power theft, Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has arrested altogether 20 individuals indulging in illegal activity.

Officers and staff of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) arrested them during raids to check power theft at various areas in the state on Tuesday and Wednesday, stated a release.
The arrestees include nine consumers from Lamlong subdivision area; three each from Bishnupur subdivision, Kangpokpi subdivision and Moirang subdivision area respectively and 1 consumer each from Kumbi subdivision and Yairipok subdivision area respectively, it mentioned.

MSPDCL will continue similar drives to check electricity theft, it added.
