Tamenglong assembly constituency MLA Janghemlung Panmei on Thursday conducted a spot inspection at multiple construction work sites in Tamenglong.
During the inspection, construction work of the power grid sub-station at Inrailong village was found to be moving at a slow pace.
The MLA gave strict instructions to the contractor, sub-contractors, manager and workers concerned to speed up the work and report the official work report to his office within one week.
He assured that he will give his best for the completion of the construction of the power grid sub-station as soon as possible to give uninterrupted electric power supply to the people of Tamenglong.
The MLA also visited the construction site of the Polytechnic building at Khongjaron, Tamenglong.
“Growing of herbs and moss on the pillar and beam indicates how slow the construction work is,” he remarked.
He also conducted the inspection of the ongoing construction site of the City Convention and training centre.
